13th International Sailing Summit, 17th November 2014, Amsterdam RAI, 0930
The International Sailing Summit (ISS) is the key driver in facilitating the exchange of thought leadership to both the supply and demand sectors of the sailing market place, with its key aim to promote sailing on a global scale.
Founded by Alistair Murray, Managing Director of Ronstan International, the ISS is a worldwide industry forum that aims to bring the sport and industry together to promote sailing on a global scale. Leading into its 3rd decade, the ISS recognises its role in bringing together the best in the business, to drive positive change through challenging times, with a vision of taking the sport of sailing to new realms.
The 13th ISS brings together forward thinkers in the sailing industry, with this year’s theme of ‘Waking up the Sailing Industry – how Sailing needs to modernise, diversify and develop to attract and retain participants’. This day conference and evening gala dinner has an impressive line-up of 12 international speakers who will debate and illustrate the latest technologies and developments in the sailing sector. An opening address from Olympic Champion and Americas Cup sailor Iain Percy OBE, and after dinner speakers including Rod Carr CBE of UK Sport and record-breaking quadriplegic sailor Hilary Lister. This is a not to be missed opportunity to be involved in the worldwide development and progression of the sport of sailing.
The Summit will highlight British Excellence in the marine industry and reinforce its position on the international stage as a world-class hub for sailing and development.
Each year a charity will receive half of the profit from the Summit and British Sailing have chosen the Andrew Simpson Sailing Foundation, the organisers of Bart’s Bash for the 13th edition of the ISS.
